The situation.

The Centre for Continuing Education (CCE) partnered with Studio LDN to elevate its digital presence and simplify the course discovery and enrolment experience. With hundreds of professional short courses and a growing audience of individual learners, employers and lifelong learners, CCE needed a platform that made course information easier to access, understand, and act on.

The opportunity.

CCE had already established a trusted position as a leading education provider. However, as course offerings expanded and user expectations evolved, the website faced growing demands.

The challenge was not to fix a broken experience, but to amplify what was working and remove friction where users were struggling.

The approach.

We conducted an in-depth review of CCE’s commissioned research, Google Analytics and user persona insights. We identified key friction points in course search, content findability, and page layout hierarchy. Supported by a comprehensive UX audit.

Using customer journey mapping and user segmentation, we clarified how different groups navigated the site and what drove their decisions.

A new information architecture was developed, supported by UI components that offered clarity and trust. Course cards, filter tools, sticky headers and comparison aids were designed to help users act with confidence.

The results.

The redesign delivered a platform that’s easier to navigate, more transparent, and better aligned with how prospective learners make decisions. While maintaining CCE’s established reputation, the new site gives users more confidence and clarity when choosing a course that suits their goals.
